Welfare unit with loading shovel brackets
Our client, an internationally owned piling company was looking for welfare facilities that would fit on the front section of a step frame articulated trailer and could be handled by a loading shovel that travels on the same trailer. Starting with CAD drawings and working with structural calculations the Portable Space team produced a suitable design that involved a 20ft one trip container cut down to 12ft in length and modified to handle the required stress of being picked up with weld on lift attachment brackets. After an initial prototype unit we have recently fulfilled an order for 7 more units that are now saving our client time and money, the need to send additional vehicles to each project site for the delivery of welfare facilities has been removed.
Whilst this is quite a specific design for this particular customer it demonstrates how the Portable Space conversions team could help to save your business time and money through a modified or converted shipping container. Please contact us to discuss your ideas and requirements to help your business save time and money or improve the facilities for you and your people.
