We’ve recently joined the Container Self-Storage and Traders Association. This will benefit not only our company but our customers, too.
The Container Self-Storage and Traders Association (CSTA) is an international trade body for container traders and any company that retails, converts, or helps the public or other end users source shipping containers. The association launched back in 2017 and has been growing ever since. It’s managed by Patrick Hicks and Colin Rubery, who between them have over 80 years of professional experience in the industry. Patrick and Colin also manage the Container Owners Association and the International Tank Container Organisation.
Benefits of membership
Aside from regular meetings, the CSTA provides its members with technical guidelines, informative documents, and awareness courses. It offers an accredited member scheme and is a fantastic resource for anyone in the industry, especially those who require training, T&Cs, and advice on the best practices.
Protecting our customers
Now that we’re a CSTA member, we’re able to help protect our customers against scammers. The UK, like many other countries, can be the target of professional-looking scam websites pretending to be legitimate traders. However, should a scam website use the CSTA logo, this would be a copyright breach and the website would be taken down.
Code of conduct
One important aspect of our membership of the CSTA is that it proves our legitimacy. By signing the CSTA code of conduct, members have shown they are an established, professional outfit, financially stable, and trade within the law. Read and download the CSTA code of conduct on their website here.
Demand for our 20ft containers
Self-storage is an integral and exciting part of our business. Our 20ft containers have proved to be the most popular unit with customers, and they’re cost-effective, too. Easy to open, they have high-mounted locking bars with long handles and a rubber grip. In addition, our superior security lock boxes shroud and protect the padlock, and condensation is reduced with the help of multiple vents.
If you’re looking for a shipping container, feel free to browse our website. Alternatively, our sales team are happy to answer any questions or discuss your requirements. You can reach them on 01449 782123 (choose option 1).
