Finalists in the Apprentice of the Year Category
Our apprentices, Amy Matthews and Callan Leech-Sinclair, were named finalists in the Apprentice of the Year category at the Bury Free Press West Suffolk Business Awards 2025.
Both joined us in September 2024 to begin their apprenticeship courses, with Amy undertaking a Team Leader/Supervisor Apprenticeship, and Callan a Procurement & Supply Assistant Apprenticeship.
Being two of just four finalists is a significant achievement and reflects their hard work, dedication, and progress since joining the Portable Space team last year.
Highlights from the Awards Evening
On Friday 10th October, the team headed to The Apex in Bury St Edmunds for an evening celebrating the success of individuals and organisations in the region.
It was fantastic to hear excellent comments about both apprentices from the host Harpreet Kaur (BBC’s The Apprentice 2022 winner), and to end the evening with the celebration of Callan receiving the Highly Commended award in the Apprentice category.
Recognising Achievement and Progress
We couldn’t be prouder of Amy and Callan. Becoming finalists for the Apprentice of the Year award highlights their professionalism, dedication and growth over the past year. It’s a fantastic milestone in their careers, and we know that they will continue to grow and be valuable members of the Portable Space team throughout their apprenticeship.
A big congratulations to Amy and Callan on this achievement!
