Portable Space Listed in Suffolk 100 List 2023 For Second Consecutive Year.

Portable Space Limited joins the county’s top performing privately owned companies in the Suffolk 100 List for the second consecutive year. The multi-award-winning specialists for both hire and sale of portable accommodation and storage containers is ranked 88th in the widely acclaimed 2023 list.

Now in its twenty-second year, Suffolk Limited offers unique insight into the performance of the Suffolk Business network. Compiled by accountants, Grant Thornton and in conjunction with law firm, Birketts, the survey analyses the financial performance of the county’s leading companies and is compiled using the most recent publicly available accounts (as of 16th October 2023) of Suffolk’s private businesses.

Mark Dolman, Director of the Year in 2023, expressed his appreciation for Portable Space’s continued inclusion in the Suffolk Limited report.

With a combined turnover of the top 100 companies featured in the report generating an impressive £6.7bn – up 15.8% compared to 2022, and a whopping £678.9m of profit – a rise of 12.4%, it is no wonder Suffolk is dubbed as the ‘county for opportunity’. The top firms also increased their workforces by 2.1% to stand at 36,476 giving a great boost to the area’s employment sector.
