A major UK housebuilder is working with Portable Space to meet its accommodation and storage needs across its current operating sites.
Following a recommendation, the company met with members of the team to discuss the optimum solution to its ongoing requirements.
It then began a hire agreement as part of a group deal with Portable Space. The immediate need was for units for a main compound set-up, comprising a range of facilities for office and meeting space, cooking, eating, rest, drying and site safety and security.
These incorporated a range of features including Cat 2 lighting, PIR sensors, non-concussive taps, fitted blinds and three-compartment dado-style trunking to route wiring and thermostatically-controlled electric heating with a timer.
A senior procurement manager from the building company said: “We quickly developed an excellent working partnership with the team – in particular Mark Dolman and Danny Napier – and found their knowledge and experience extremely helpful.
“As we were looking to use Portable Space’s products across all our current sites, we drew up a group deal with agreed layouts to ensure consistency. Delivery and installation have been highly efficient to date and we are delighted with the results.”
