Sunset Beach Club is situated on the sandy shores of Bournemouth Beach. Nestled alongside the iconic pier, this popular pop-up bar and restaurant sits in a sheltered spot, providing the perfect sun-trap for a holiday feel.
The brainchild of the team behind Bournemouth’s destination bar and restaurant, Aruba, the Sunset Beach Club welcomes visitors from April through to late September. Unique and family-friendly, this innovative bar is smack-bang on the beach and brings all the holiday vibes.
The demand for beachside dining has surged and courtesy of Bournemouth Council, the team has been able to stage this seasonal dining and drinking experience. The quality, street food-inspired menu offers something for all the family. Alongside casual bites and burgers, sharing platters and pizza, Sunset Beach Club serves an array of drinks and speciality beach-themed cocktails. With daily DJs spinning the best in background house music, punters can enjoy live sets, played from open to close.
The team at Sunset turned to Portable Space to help create the ideal facility for their laidback beachside bar. In recent months, flatpack kiosks have proven to be a big hit within the hospitality, service and events sectors and several Portable Space customers have already benefitted from this versatile and cost-effective solution. Introducing kiosks into outside spaces is a great way to successfully increase covers, provide continuity of service or expand business offerings.
Quirky kiosks were the perfect fit for Sunset Beach Club; complementing the bar’s unique vibe and laidback feel. A series of linked kiosks and store units provide the temporary facilities for food and drink preparation and service. Portable Space was happy to offer a quick, easy and cost-effective solution; meeting the tight, opening-day deadline and going the extra mile by supplying spray paint to re-touch the units, post-construction.

Off the back of a successful first season, Sunset Beach Club is back and providing the perfect summer escape. With some notable improvements, including more seating, VIP gazebos and a large decked pathway for increased accessibility, guests are guaranteed great music and a great time.
