The East Anglian Daily Times Business Awards 2023, formerly known as the Suffolk Business Awards, was certainly a night to remember! Our team had an incredible time celebrating with many deserving businesses and individuals enjoying delicious food and sharing a very happy occasion.
Kesgrave Hall, Milsoms was the impressive hosting venue, complete with a showbiz red-carpet, flowing champagne, top-class food, and an electric atmosphere from start to finish.
For us, the evening offered an air of excitement whilst waiting eagerly for the start of the awards ceremony knowing that our Managing Director, Mark Dolman, was in the running for an award.
Entertainment didn’t disappoint either, with the hilarious comedian and writer, Jen Brister hosting the awards who had the whole place in stitches with her witty quips.
When Jen got round to the ‘Director of the Year’ category, our anticipation heightened and the moment we had all been waiting for was finally here… To our delight, Mark’s name was read out off the winners’ card, and then the real celebrations began!
Up against other strong finalists, Mark had scooped the deserving title, and we couldn’t be prouder of him for his exceptional leadership skills, entrepreneurial spirit, and unwavering support. It’s incredible to see his hard work and outstanding contribution to our industry and community being recognised by a wider audience.
But it wasn’t just Mark who shone on the night. It was fantastic to see so many Suffolk businesses being celebrated at this special event. Attwells Solicitors received the ‘Customer Excellence Award’, and The Suffolk Jungle Room won the ‘Small Business Award’. We would also like to give a shout out to the other finalists: PredicAire, Satsuma Group, Brampton Manor, Kingsfleet, and MacKenzie King for their invaluable contributions to the business community.
With a special acknowledgement to LocalIQ, Suffolk Chamber and Sizewell C Supply Chain, plus a heartfelt thank you to all the incredible sponsors who made the event possible and the evening unforgettable.
As a team and company, we are bursting with pride that Mark won the prestigious ‘Director of the Year’ title. We are equally proud to have been part of such a remarkable event that showcased the outstanding talent and achievements of the Suffolk business community. We can’t wait for the next one!
