Shed enthusiasts from across the UK gathered in record numbers at ShedFest 2023, where our innovative new products received high praise. Among the standout items being exhibited were our new Wood-Effect Flat Pack Store and the Flat-Packed Kiosk.
Our wood-effect flat pack store has for a long time been an extremely popular alternative to the timber garden shed, and now it can look like one too! This remarkable product combines the convenience of flat pack assembly with the aesthetic appeal of authentic wood. Visitors couldn’t help but be impressed by its ingenious design and versatility.
Shedders also admired our flat-packed kiosk, a fantastic addition to the world of sheds and outdoor structures. Great for use in remote areas and more secure than your traditional shed too!
ShedFest 2023 is the UK Men’s Sheds Association annual celebration of Men’s Sheds and Shedders across the UK. The event provided an unparalleled opportunity for Shedders to unite, exchange ideas and advice about tools and running sheds, plus attend several enlightening talks. A stand out talk for us was delivered by TWAM’s Chief Executive, Mike Griffin who’s stirring speech left everyone inspired and motivated to support their cause. (TWAM – Tools With a Mission, is a charitable organisation that dispatches tools to various parts of the world and who are supported by Men’s Sheds.)
Speaking after the event Chief Officer of UK Men’s Sheds Association, Charlie Bethel said: “It was fantastic to see so many sheds enjoying themselves, networking, and meeting new people for the first time. Listening to our patron, Chris Fisher RPT aka Blind Woodturner, as he gave the keynote address the wonderful presentations from Dementia, friends from Cancer Research UK and then our other partners, including Axminster tools, it was tremendous.

As Shedders return home with newfound inspiration and friendships, it is clear to see the importance of Men’s Sheds, which helps in banishing loneliness and isolation, and brings communities together to build, fix and restore projects as well as themselves!
