As the year draws to a close, the Portable Space Christmas Party remains a highly anticipated event on our December calendar. On Friday, December 20th, the team gathered at Hintlesham Golf Club to celebrate a successful 2024 with colleagues, partners, and valued suppliers.
A Memorable EveningÂ
The event brought together ten tables of guests who enjoyed a wonderful evening of good company and celebration. The night began with a superb three-course meal, followed by entertainment including a live band and a disco, creating an atmosphere of celebration and camaraderie.
Recognising Excellence
The highlight of the evening was a speech by Managing Director Mark Dolman, who reflected on the team’s dedication and achievements over the past year. His words of appreciation led to the eagerly awaited announcement of the 2024 Colleague of the Year Award.
Following a company-wide vote, the award was presented to Chris Forsdike, our Sales Yard Manager. His unwavering commitment and exceptional contributions since moving from a driver to his new role in the sales yard has earned him this well-deserved recognition. Congratulations to Chris, whose work exemplifies the values and spirit of Portable Space.
Looking Ahead to 2025
The Christmas Party was more than just a celebration; it was an opportunity to reflect on the collective achievements of 2024 and to look forward to the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead in 2025.
