The Modular and Portable Building Association (MPBA) plays a key role in connecting all sectors of the modular and portable building industry. As an MPBA member, Portable Space is proud to be part of this community.
One of the most anticipated events in the MPBA networking calendar is the Annual Golf Day. The event and more informal setting provide the ideal opportunity to mix business with pleasure. A firm favorite with all MPBA members, Portable Space always looks forward to attending.
Due to high demand last year, this year’s event was hosted on Friday 23rd June at the larger venue of Belton Woods in Grantham. A golfers’ haven, Belton Woods provided the ideal setting for this year’s friendly competition. Boasting 36 holes of golf, over demanding and picturesque courses, Belton Woods suits the less serious and scratch player alike. Happily, our talented team of players rose to the challenge on the day.
The seamlessly-organised event brought industry insiders together for a wonderful day of golf, followed by a delicious BBQ. What better way to spend a sunny day? To top it off, Team Portable Space took home the trophy. We are delighted with the newly-presented trophy which will take pride of place at Portable Space. Our very own Joshua Brown also took the top spot as singles winner.
We were also keen to support the MPBA’s fundraising efforts for their chosen charity of the year, the Alzheimer’s Society. This deserving organisation is close to the hearts of many of our industry friends and colleagues.
We are already looking forward to taking part in next year’s MPBA Golf Day. Here’s hoping we keep hold of the silverware.
